Ire Birse Empty Ire Birse

Post by Ire Thu Feb 28, 2013 4:19 pm

Name: Ire Birse

Age: 19

Race: Human

Trait is Dark Keybearer. For every keyblade  present around Ire (including his own) he gains a 3% stat boost to his affinities.

Weapons: Keyblade

Elements: Fire, Earth, Nature, Darkness

Appearance: Ire stands at about six feet tall, with long platinum hair and darkened skin. His frame is rather svelte and well toned from several months of constant fighting. His eyes are typical of many touched by the Darkness, being the irises holding a golden-yellow coloration. For all the fighting he's done, he has no scars on his skin. His face is handsome as well, a sharpened chin typical of a youthful person and a rounded nose.

Personality: Ire Birse is a calculating individual. When he sets a goal, he attains it, no matter who he needs to cut down to do so. He is arrogant and seeks power for his own ends, delving into the darkness to attain greater strength than he previously held. He is also cruel, opting to use torture to gain information when he desires it. However, some vestiges of his past existence still linger, and occasionally he falls into extreme bouts of violent rage whenever certain stimuli are present.

Overall, however, Ire will do what he needs to do to ensure his own ends. Ever polite and almost never expressing his emotions when conducting business, in battle Ire is an animal.

Affinities:
High Strength
High Magic Affinity
High Synthesis

Weakness: Low Durability
Low Magic Resistance[/i]

History: Originally named Esri Beri, Ire was orphaned at the age of eight when his parents died under mysterious circumstances. Alone for the following few months Esri made survival his prerogative by feeding off of the scraps left behind by the more well off citizens. Many of them treated him with kindness, but most of them were brutally abusive towards him. However, there was one man in particular who showed an odd amount of compassion towards the boy: a professor named Malik.

Malik lived in a mostly abandoned part of town in an old laboratory. He spent months crafting wondrous things and powerful items, though the purposes he used them for were unknown. He usually fed young Ersi, and would often talk to him about life, darkness, and worlds beyond the stars. Ersi listened eagerly to his words, absorbing them and their meaning. Malik's talks made him lust for something in the depths of his heart: power. Ersi, even at this young age had been taken in by Malik's silver tongue and began to fall to the darkness. The descent was gradual, almost unnoticeable to all except the professor himself.

The professor was attempting experiments on the heart, and this young, orphaned boy provided him with the perfect subject. Eager to help his benefactor, Ersi agreed to run several errands for him, and eventually Ersi became Malik's apprentice. By the age of thirteen, Ersi was building small but magical objects out of a mystical material called 'Gummi Blocks', his skill quickly beginning to exceed Malik's. Malik was displeased by this however: the fact that a child was showing him up in intelligence made him uncomfortable, so he sent Ersi away to another world on a dangerous task. Ersi was meant to fight and kill a person wielding a 'Keyblade'. Young Ersi who was not able to fight very well agreed, and followed the Keyblader's trail to the end of the world. Rigging his Gummi Ship's weapons to fire within a certain time limit, Ersi managed to bait the warrior into following him, blaring triumphantly that his mentor, Malik, would be proud of him as the weapons all fired on the Keyblader.

However, the Keyblader was not so green. He managed to evade the weaponry with some fairly deep injuries and hijacked Ersi's gummi ship, fleeing the End of the World and stranding Ersi there. Ersi wandered the End of the World for a long time, the taint of Darkness overcoming him slowly. Eventually, as he walked deeper into the darkness he arrived back at his home world in his Master Malik's abode. Driven to anger by Malik's apparent knowledge that Ersi would fail, he killed Malik and took his identity, continuing his work on replicating the town's children. A year later, fate delivered the same Keyblade wielder that had left him on the End of the World right to his doorstep.

In the end, 'Malik' forced the Keyblade wielder to retreat. Realizing that the world he was on was no longer a safe place to conduct experiments on the darkness, he dropped Malik's title, built a whole new gummi ship, and sailed off into the Sea of Skies. He reversed his old name, Ersi Brie, and became known as Ire Birse. However, when he'd left Malik's lab he had taken something dangerous he'd found. Malik had left access to a there, one known as The End of Pain. Taking up the Keyblade and heading off into the unknown, the darkness known as Ire Birse would begin to sweep through the night. Three years have have passed since that day...

RP sample: "Mine! Its mine! All of it!" A greedy voice hissed into the caverns, its desperation soothing to the boy. There was a grin across young Ire's face, the cracking of his neck and the sway of his hair as he tilted his head grimly. The dark of the room enclosed around them like a cage while the golden eyes of a predator gleamed at the pitiful, greedy man. He raised his closed fist at the man, extending a finger. For second, it seemed as if he was pointing at the man. Instead, he pointed past him towards a pile of golden coins and jewels.

"I have only one thing I desire from this place." On the top of the pile was a keychain. It was a pair of stained glass butterfly wings, yellow and pink in their mixture of colors. However in the center of the butterfly wings was not a body, but a blue eye with a black slit. "That is all I require."

A brief sweep of relief come over the greedy man as his intentions became clear, though some doubt still lingered. "You don't want any of this treasure?" He looked to where the man pointed. "You would prefer... that?" Ire nodded. "Then by all means, I suppose." As ire stepped forward the man was quick to add in, "But I'm watching you."

On Ire's back was a long object wrapped in black cloth-- it was massive, but whatever it was seemed inert and hefty. He climbed through the golden mass carefully, attempting not to displace his long sought after prize. Fistful after fistful of treasure was grasped and released in his trek upwards until finally he rested his palm upon it. "Ah." A verbal confirmation. He stood triumphantly and slid down the mound of valuables, coins and gems spilling out as an avalanche of minuscule proportions. his hand gripping the chain he turned his face to the man. "I have what I came for." He walked off from the pile, and took from his back the large object encased in black cloth.

"What is that?" The man's question was filled with condescension and curiosity. What was this trinket that the man had taken from the pile. As he watched Ire unwrap the large thing his eyes widened. A truly fearsome thing laid before him in appearance, stertorous and gruesome yet maintaining elegance.

"The missing piece," Ire replied with a grim glee. He grasp the handle and the chain, placing the two together in glorious, horrible unity. The Keyblade's eye at the top of its form glowed blue with the eye on a Keychain. As he raised it up, his face was as a child's-- curious to the wonders, the possibility before him now. His future was set.

"The missing piece to what?" The mans curiosity was peaked, and he very subtly tried to reach for a knife. Did Ire have some kind of great treasure? It must be his. It had to be his. Ire turned around, Keyblade still raised and the man within range of a strike.

"It doesn't matter," he said, "because you won't live to tell anyone of this day."
