A Shadowed Minute (Reina/Open)

[Sirius]

Sirius swiftly moved slowly across the First District, taking in the shops and such. There was one in the smack dab middle of the place, but not much else. The Replica decided to take a load off, something he didn't do a lot. He liked the pumping of his blood, the rush he got from activity, but sometimes it was just boring. So the young man sat, taking his long blue ponytail and slinging it in front of him. He then proceeded to observe the scenery, attempting to blend in and simply watch other's affairs. It's not like he was nosy or anything, he was just waiting for someone to do something interesting; then Sirius would definitely get nosy.

There was an alleyway in this district, a small old dumpster was lying within, but naught else. A quiet evening would be broken very quickly as a dark portal appeared, dumping a figure out of it. The portal lingered for a moment as the limp body rolled out of it, but very shortly thereafter closed back up, not leaving a trace that it was there, or even a hint as to from whence it came. The form that was dropped was a Nekomata girl by the name of Reina, or more accurately one half of her heart that barely survived and manifested as a physical being....
A short time passed as the girl roused from her unconscious state, opening her eyes and seeming to be disillusioned. It took her a second before she noticed she wasn't where she was before. This place, while familiar, was not the one she had just been to. A hint of shock crossed her eyes as she remembered what happened to her, before her head began to throb from the sheer force of the impact. Grabbing it quickly she nearly lost her own balance, despite of the fact that she was lying on her side.
A moment later she regained composure, and stood up. It was at this that she realized that she was quite naked and quickly yelped in shock as she covered herself. Darting her eyes about she saw that her old outfit was behind the dumpster, and a portal barely escaped from her view, one that likely delivered it to her. Looking around warily, she took a second to duck behind the dumpster and dress. Luckily it was a one way alleyway, so she only had to look one way.
Moments later she emerged from the alleyway cautiously, dressed in clothes which she hadn't had for some time. A soft blue halter top adorned her chest, showing more skin off than she was used to, but in some ways it was liberating. A skirt was the next most obvious accent to the outfit. It was a soft green floral mini-skirt, ruffled gently around the edges in the way she liked. Next off was a new addition to her outfit, a pair of knee-high sea-green boots to match her fur and hair, reflective and shiny were not normal for her before, but once again, it was better feeling than she'd been used to. Yet another new addition was that of her bracelets, the silver chains adorned with various sea green and sea blue charms of various types to compliment her outfit and remind her of many exploits that she'd been through over her relatively short, yet somewhat long lifespan. Next was a necklace, shaped in a half-heart now, also silver with a blue charm. It was a rather interesting addition to this outfit, the charm likely being symbolic. Lastly was a flower which wasn't there before, something completely new to her outfit. A black flower with petals spread out wide was mounted to the front left side of her skirt. For some reason she felt it was important, but she couldn't tell why.
She bounced for just a second and examined her outfit, it was a new feeling, a new body. She wasn't entirely sure how she got it... a gift from her children perhaps?... She decided not to dwell on it and made for the center of the area, and sat on the stairs there. Maybe something would occur to her if she just thought about it for some time.

[Sirius]

Sirius watched the cat-thing slither out of the alleyway, content with just nonchalantly sitting on the steps as if she didn't just walk out from sleeping by a dumpster. Was she some sort of drug addict? The youth shrugged, not really worried about it. Though it was pretty interesting, a young girl walking out of such a dirty place with a pretty much clean attire. It was as if she had just got there. It was something worth moving about, maybe. Sirius stood and walked over to the steps, looking down on the young girl. Instead of saying anything immediately, he simply sat down next to her waited for a moment. Then, he spoke. Hey. What's up?

She took notice but said nothing, a figure sat beside her. A moment passed as she wondered what he wanted, hopefully not anything that she had to care about as she was already quite occupied with her own thoughts. Finally he spoke, and it was a simple greeting. The first thing to cross her mind was (What does this guy want?... Ugh, he's not gunna just say it, he's gunna do the whole "Formality" dance.... how bothersome..... well whatever, I'll entertain him... for now....)
Smiling she turned to him and replied in a soft and gentle voice, one she was used to using by now, but not quite what she wanted.
Yes? Is there something you want?
Internally she was rolling her eyes, wondering if he was going to get to his point or just banter like a moron...

[Sirius]

I was just wondering why you walked out of the alleyway like a gang-raped meth-addicted slut. Fuck, excuse me for being nice. Sirius said, glancing towards the alley this woman had come into existence from. It was awkward now that she decided to take the sarcastic 'bitch' route, but it's whatever. Sirius desperately wanted for a heartless to attack or something, because he really hated the silence that enveloped him immediately after he said it. He grunted in frustration, quietly, and waited for her to respond.

"Well that was rude, and overly blunt... this man cannot hold conversation for anything can he?" She thought to herself. "One moment very kind and boring, the next overly blunt and attacking?.... He must be a bipolar." She once again mentally 'Rolled her eyes' and carried on in the innocent tone she was still far too used to for her own taste.
Wha?.... Excuse me? What'd I do to you, jerk?

[Sirius]

Sarcastic Innocence will get you nowhere. Sirius said, jumping to a conclusion like the hot-head usually did. The female seemed sweet enough, though the Replica knew from experience that no one was 'good'. Everyone had dark and twisted intentions, and this young woman was no exception. So why did you come out of the alley, anyway, girl? Sirius said, his curiosity getting the best of him once again. He had an urge, a lust, for knowledge. He wanted to know anything that happened in the worlds, these strange, strange worlds. Anything that could prove a small hint to find Malik.

This one was rather bold and offensive... He was apparently rather socially inept too, not something that was going to make information gathering go any smoother. Well his insolence was not going to reward him this day.
You know, I'm not so certain I'm inclined to tell you now.
She said this as she was standing up, taking a step away from this brat. Her leer was intended to be piercing and cold, but still retain that innocence that she was still using as a guise.

[Sirius]

This dumb fucking cunt did not just stand up and wave that big floppy pancake of an ass in my face. Sirius thought, astounded. Normally he would have gotten up and engaged immediately, however, he bit his tongue. He needed to get information, and this was obviously not going well. It would be quicker to submit. Wait... I'm sorry. I just have a hard time talking to people like this. Sirius said, muttering but speaking loud enough for him to be heard. I figured you were just being a dick...

Now he's sorry?.... This was certainly furthering her theory of bipolarity, which would mean this situation may not stay safe for long. She decided she needed to go, and quickly.
....Well you shouldn't just jump to conclusions like that. It's really inconsiderate. I do have to go though, I just remembered something.... I'll see you around.
She began to walk off, trying to leave this situation as soon as possible.

[Sirius]

Sirius' anger built. He couldn't seem to get through to this woman, no matter which approach he tried. She was obviously up to something. Darker and darker, his heart sank, becoming heavy and filled with hatred. She was a conniving lying bastard, and he couldn't stand it! She acted as if she was so completely innocent, but no one was! The Replica couldn't control himself, and let his heart embrace the darkness. This didn't help him, really.

Heartless started to come from the other districts, some simply folding out from there normal 2D shape from the shadows. They had come to take Sirius, or at least try. However, they had a strange interest in the girl; she seemed to attract, or even, interest the heartless beasts. Sirius instantly had a deep feeling of regret in his stomach. He probably just dug his own grave, as they started coming towards him. They didn't really pay attention to the girl. He was in a load of trouble...

However, saviors in greyish white came to his rescue. They popped out of Nothing, literally coming into existence in a moment. There had been about 10 heartless formed, comprised of Shadows and Giga Shadows, and now a Dusk for each one came as well. They appeared behind each of the fiends, a single swipe taking care of the low-level heartless. However, the Nobodies now had there attentions drawn to Sirius, as well. Not really an improvement on the situation. But again, like the heartless, the Nobodies took interest in her, it seemed, as they took glances at her while looking back at Sirius, as if deciding.

Suddenly, the Nobodies slithered towards the young girl, as if seeking her as some sort of target. Sirius thought that Nobodies only went after Heartless, but maybe anything with a heart was on the menu? Or maybe this girl so closely resembled the Darkness that they couldn't tell. Either way, he would wait a moment to see what the girl would do. He would definitely help, in case she was defenseless, but he was still a little angry about how she had so rudely treated him, he might let a scratch or two happen before jumping in. And if she was strong enough to handle it, well, no harm done.

It was then that her children came by, swarming the person behind her hungrily. She wanted for them to attack, so much, he needed to learn some manners, but she found herself unable to do so. Instead she asked that they don't attack without turning around. But soon she felt her children's cry, and turned around, Nobodies attacked, and stared at the other person a moment before coming for her. This man weilded the power of nobodies? And he was sending them after her?.... What a jerk indeed. Well, this was not a good place to be, not now. Her children's vengeance would have to wait, now this man was her enemy. Such a terrible being.... Reina made a dash for the gate to the next sector, soon, thanks to her knowledge and a bit of help from the heartless, she managed to duck into hiding and escape this dreadful place. One day, she would come back, and make this man pay for his insolence.

[Sirius]

The woman started to run, and the Dusks flew after her. Sirius would have let her be hurt, to let her be wounded, but she seemed defenseless; he was almost forced to call after her. They're behind you! Watch out! He exclaimed. The Dusks were fast, and Sirius didn't know if they would catch up to her. In a rush of the moment, he bent the winds around him to catch up to her in any way he could [Gale Movement: -40 MP]. He ran forward, leaping in the air over the Nobodies and in-front of the girl. If you're just going to leave like that, do it without taking them with you next time! He yelled. Then, he moved out of her way, prepared to fight off the Nobody's and letting the girl get to safety. I'm way too nice...

Leaving the area she heard the person call something out to her, but she couldn't hear what he said, nor did she care. Fleeing the area she found her way to her allies, the heartless, who escorted her to safety, to home.
